World Health And Spa Lady Become Gymvmt And Her Gymvmt In Move To Re-Energize Alberta Fitness Experience
New membership model provides Albertans with the flexibility to choose the offerings best suited for their lifestyle. Store-in-store boutique fitness studios combined with the benefits of big-box facilities provide hybrid experience at a price that makes sense.
CALGARY, DECEMBER 5, 2019 – The parent company of World Health and Spa Lady, International Fitness Holdings Inc., today unveiled their rebrand to GYMVMT (pronounced Gym Movement) and HER GYMVMT (Her Gym Movement) in a bold transformation that consolidates the two brands to provide Albertans with more flexibility and more choice.
“For too long, Albertans have had no choice but to settle between one-size-fits-all fitness offerings and small studios with a singular specialty experience – or pay exorbitant fees for multiple memberships to get what they want,” said David Brodmann, President and Chief Operating Officer, International Fitness Holdings. “GYMVMT exists to challenge the status quo. Now, the divide between accessibility and quality begins to fade with new customizable pricing and all-in-one offerings that empower Albertans to get more of what they want under one membership, and less of what they don’t want.”
Throughout the month of December, 19 World Health and Spa Lady locations will undergo changes to become GYMVMT and HER GYMVMT, including updates to signage, aesthetics, in-club connectivity, and technology with the launch of a new mobile app on December 9.
By late-January, three new Trū Ride boutique cycle studios will open in Calgary and Edmonton, in addition to an existing studio in Edmonton’s Gateway location. The high intensity training boutique studio, known as PWR X LAB, will begin construction early in the new year in addition to the existing studio located at the Macleod Trail GYMVMT club.
The following locations will become GYMVMT and HER GYMVMT clubs over the coming weeks:
